@Quicksilver87 my daughter used to make me so mad holding everyone up eating out while she went back for 3rd servings and a huge plate of deserts
She was a size 1 ,now she is 41 and no longer a size 1 ,,
I had friends like that too ,,,only 1 is still tall as a bean pole and just as skinny as high school ,,,and he has an overactive thyroid
I was always skinny ,,now I am 245 ,but I am broad shouldered ,pretty stout
But inactivity the past few years has made me put on more weight than i like
But I am still strong as an ox ,,but my back has had it
To many years showing off how strong I was has played its toll

@Quicksilver87 luck with bad luck :) i can look ripped when i put fat to muscle but sadly i gain 60 pounds from eating 1 pound of food :p

@popmol you may have an inactive thyroid ,,and it also mimics mental illness
My Mom was nuts ,bat shit crazy ,off her rocker
But she was misdiagnosed as manic depression aka bipolar
she had thyroid cancer ,when that was addressed she was still a spoiled brat
But she did not snap on ya and try to kill ya for nothing

I am good at proving Autistic kids can be very self reliant ,,you have to find out what makes them tick and apply it to other things ,,
I have a brother in law thats a savant ,you would think the things he makes comes from a high end store ,,,very detailed work
2 grandkids no one could handle ,,,3 days with me ,I get a call from the school I am a miracle worker ,,,when the oldest acted out he hits and head butts ,scratch's people ,,he will calm down for me over the phone
I don't treat him like a retard ,,I treat him like someone I love and want to be self reliant ,,,not in a facility heavenly medicated
back in the day they put you in a cage and medicated the crap out of you
Well I am patient ,,I find the colors and numbers and activities that make them want to focus ,,and show them they are way more brilliant then people think ,,,we are learning ,,savants have blown the world away in the past few years the hidden talents some have ..
proving what I knew all along ,,my brother in law is big and can get violent if he is upset ,,,,all I need to do is say his name he chills for me
I have always treated him good ,he knows that anything I do is for his own good and one thing is demanding self control

You say enough ,you may not have as much gab in you as I do ,but I have been at it quite a bit longer ,but it doesn't matter what
music you like or dislike ,games you might play ,friends or the lack of
I spend a lot of time alone so when I have people to talk to I have to remind myself someone else might want to speak too ,,
So thats not my intention ,to take over anything ,but I have a lot of experience ,,,people (mainly teens ) used to ask for advice all the time
but now they are all grown ,they thank me for guiding them and taking the time to explain things and not making them feel stupid ,,but now they all have lives of their own and I am not forgotten ,but it can feel like it sometimes
So I share some of those stories here ,,and once in a while
Someone asks me to tell them how to do something ,or how I managed to end up with such a killer family ,,and the answer is beats hell out of me

Diagnosed with ADHD @ 6
Mom had many dead beat boyfriends until 5 yrs ago she got with an ex navy vet
Worked his first day today ,,under contract for HACO aviation
as an aviation mechanic

Public school ,,worked his tail off as an intern 3 yrs
Since he was 15 he was in a school program that landed him a good job
So all the people who say you can't catch a break
You have to earn it ,,,I am so proud of my boy
