What do you do when random unknown profiles say hi to you?

I usually tell them to message you

If people aren't in my friend's list they go straight to the "Requests"

If I see them a lot on q&a I will respond.

But, but....😔

Simply delete the message.

Ignore them

if they just say "hey", i delete the message.

After a few weird experiences I’ve ignored them

Me too LOL, especially when they're much older then me, just find it a tad creepy.

I just ignore them, I rarely visit my inbox to begin with and if it’s someone who I’ve had little to no other interactions with, I’ll just delete it.

I usually say Hi back and have a conversation if that's what they're looking for. It doesn't happen very often to me though, I'll admit.

I answer when I can. I am cordial until shown I should be otherwise.

they are usually from dudes i suspect might be gay. im straight, so i block them.
