Is it easier to ask for forgiveness or permission?

@Reject Do you think you should always ask for permission? i.e. do you suppose there are instances where asking for permission is more negative than assuming it?

@cultofaction Yes, I believe you should always ask. I don't think there's an instance where asking would be worse. Even if you're asking for permission to do a really offensive or disgusting thing, at least you're considering them first on their terms. They might not see how good that was of you depending on whatever you asked for, but it was still the right thing to do.
