For those that weren't toddlers in the 80s , how was your life like back then ?

The very best time of my life!! Mom and dad divorced (mom and I both abused) and mom and I felt like we broke out of prison. Good times!

All of this new technology like VCR's and PC's were coming out, but my family couldn't afford any of it 😅.

Strange days. Internet was just something northerners used to say after they caught a fish.

It was a tough time for me. I was 35 years old and had to leave a city I loved (Portland, Oregon) to move back to the city of my miserable childhood (Los Angeles) to take care of my elderly parents. I was also forced to change careers and become a teacher, the last thing I'd wanted in my life. So the 80s were hard for me. I went to teacher's college, became a teacher, and had a long time boyfriend who died of lung cancer in the early 90s. Not a fun decade for me in any sense.

I was working, married and had a daughter. Life was good. 😊

I was little but it was pretty sad.

Blissfully simple.
Life seems so much more complicated these days, I wonder what kind of world my kids will grow up in. I'm sure every generation thinks the same thing, but the internet and technology seems to have sped everything up.

I guess it was ok.

Was the decade when my kids were born.
I was a bussy father and an unhappy husband.

I wasnt even born so good I guess 😂

My life has always been great, then and now.
