@SW-User the sad thing is not the posts of food people eat ,its the food that ends up in dumps and landfills
Restaurants have been discouraged from giving good food to the homeless and shelters that is good ,it just has to be pulled after it sits so long
They scare them with liability should someone get sick or die after eating it
but now things are being done to change that ,,food pulled off the shelves in super markets and tossed just over a "Best if sold by " label ,,
and all the produce ,,such a waste
We don't have a food problem ,we have a distribution problem ,and some well fed ,well paid elected official not getting off their butts to cut through red tape and come up with solutions ..thats the real problem
Cut social programs but vote themselves raises ,at night LOL
They can come up with ways to get plane loads of "Public Servants " to a hotel with hookers ,,but not ways to get rice and beans to the starving
Yea ,they idea those people we elect to serve the people really do
Thats overrated for sure
and people around the world go hungry needlessly ,and here in the US too
its not limited to Africa and Haiti and countries like that ,American kids go hungry too ,
This is one that can really get me sad ,,we waste so much in the USA
