Why does it seem that Americans now base your worth as a person on which political party you subscribe to?

It's absurd. As if that were the ONLY criteria for deciding a person's value. Not whether they are a good parent, not whether they help others, not whether they are compassionate.

Honestly, THIS is why I am sick of politics. There is NO common sense left any more.

It’s not just Americans, look at comments by our own British cousins. They espouse opinions on subjects which not only are they woefully uninformed about but also don’t effect them in the slightest.
