Why does it seem that Americans now base your worth as a person on which political party you subscribe to?

It's absurd. As if that were the ONLY criteria for deciding a person's value. Not whether they are a good parent, not whether they help others, not whether they are compassionate.

Honestly, THIS is why I am sick of politics. There is NO common sense left any more.

Both parties are wretched shit that hold the country back, and it's sad that many Americans still buy into the duopoly.

@GeistInTheMachine But it's the politician who are corrupt, NOT the people. Yet, we still judge others by their party affiliation.

@SW-User At some level, it takes two to tango.

@GeistInTheMachine I agree. But my question is WHY do people buy into it?
Peaceful · F
@SW-User indoctrination. Simple as that. We are taught from a young age to conform and not think for ourselves, but to go to others. Tragic to say the least that people haven't started unlearning this.

@Peaceful They need to teach more classes in CRITICAL thinking :)

@SW-User you misunderstand. They want us as sheep. It serves them and their pockets well.

@Peaceful Oh, I know what they want! lol
