Do people really think these politician really care about you? Why vote then cause they dont?

It’s not possible for politicians to “really care” about everyone. That’s not what voting is about.

@SW-User Sure, but we don’t just vote for politicians. There are propositions and measures dealing with taxes and health care and the environment. Those mean more to me than voting for lackluster politicians.
