@IAmNothing One of the mistakes young women sometimes make is traveling in herds. A guy might brave approaching a stranger, but a whole species is intimidating. They might stampede!
If you want someone and they're not at work and they're not at home, the obvious next step is, go some different places. I got in trouble for this before but I'll try it again. Change your screen name. If you believe you are nothing, a lot of people will take your word for it, a few will try to take advantage of your poor self-esteem and some will reach out from pity, but none of those will do you any good. Shake things up. Color your hair, or get a new style.

@IAmNothing But you said you don't go anywhere. I don't suggest cosmetic changes so others will look at you differently, but so YOU will.
Why no friends? Are you shy or hard to get along with? You've made it clear things haven't been working for you for some years. So change what you're doing. I'm not saying hang out in bars...volunteer someplace, take a class. Even if you meet women, they know men.
