Respectfully disagree. It’s low voter participation that has got the US in the mess it’s in. The government is not responsive to the needs of the middle class and poor precisely because they don’t vote.

There are also pretty clear differences between the parties. Elections have consequences regardless of whether you like the candidates on a personal level.

@seashells Um, no they’re not. You don’t have to believe Al Gore or Hillary were as wise as Abraham Lincoln to know that policies and outcomes for people would have been very different if GW Bush or Trump weren’t President.

You must not know anyone struggling to insure themselves.
