Do babies have to sleep in a crib or can they sleep on a regular bed?

Viper · M
Never had kids but it's my understanding the cribs are just for their protection, they can sleep most places, but can you garentee someone won't accidentally role over on them or pull the covers or no cloths from the sheets, covers pillows, or cloths your wearing will block it's breathing ways?

Baby can sleep anywhere, the crib is just designed to have less accident possiblities

They can sleep anywhere as long as they are restricted from falling off the area.
I put my little one in a moses basket and swaddled her.
She then went into a cot. (crib)
I never had her in my bed because I heard they will never leave!

when they're newborns you should leave them on the crib. you dont want to crush them while you sleep. once they get a little older they can sleep with you.
Crib... cradle beside you on the bed, as long as it's secure... in a playpen... cradle on the ground... as long as they're too young to get out....

Crib. Regular bed is too dangerous for infants for a variety of reasons.
@LadyBronte I hear rolling over them disrupts their breathing...
Well they can roll off the bed and bust their necks thats why they have cribs

Apparently, they tend to break when they roll off a regular bed.
Awwwwww and I heard co-sleeping from birth was perfectly healthy!! 😯
