Yes, it's just you. The US film industry is a big machine, and certainly a huge amount of their output is crap, but some American movies are [u]genuine art[/u]. Movies by Jim Jarmusch come to mind, especially "Dead Man", with music by Neil Young.
@helenS right,because i just watched a movie that is about human and children sacrifice in order to get fame and succes cloaked as a horror comedy,and i've read about hollywood being full of pedophiles and satanists,you should check it out for yourself
