The inventor himself wanted it to be pronounced 'jif' but people are now saying that 'gif is just as legitimate. Classic humans. Tell the guy who invented it that we're not going to follow the way he intended it to be 😂

This is the inventor accepting a webby award and using a gif during his acceptance speech to tell people its pronounced 'jif' (which is a pretty funny idea). I personally use 'jif' because that's what it was intended as but if some uses 'gif' it doesnt matter to me. 🤷♂️
