I have been dusabled from birth, as an adult I have only been able to work 2 years at a full time job, have been on SSDI for 8 years, will beon it until I die, making $12k per year, currently ebt only covers about 2/3 of my food, and if you do have a part time job, if you make as little as $1k/month your SSDI can bee Completely cancled.
Not to mention you have $200 of that $1k/mth taken out to pay for Medicare Before you even get the money. So you are actually living on more like $10k/yr

My point being, yes I know there is fraud, like a family having 4 kids, moving to the US and having one more and getting the whole family covered by ebt, and yes multi-generational ebt use, but there are also a lot more people like me that are in real need than most people realize.
