Carpenters or people who are really good with building, what is a good type of wood to build a house? And can I use reclaimed wood?

The type of lumber is best, often depends on where you live. If you are building in a very humid, or very dry climate, it makes a difference. Some woods will rot faster if constantly exposed to moisture. (I don't know enough to give you advice on what would to use for your area, but I would recommend you just ask the guys in the lumber department at a Home Depot or Lowes. They will be familiar with your area.)
