Do you believe that most people in the world are good people? Does the news just want us to think everyone is a murderer and thief?

Neither good nor bad. We do what we choose to do. Consider that the news is ratings driven(in order to sell air time), so what we get is rubberneck bullshit-death, dying, destruction, etc. If a Martian landed on this planet, with ONLY the knowledge of the media, he/she/it would expect wall to wall race rioting, with caravans of celebrities being paraded down the streets. We all know that's not true, so don't believe the hype!
