Never.. Usually people stop trying because they look through and listen to the judgmental eyes of those around them. Bad idea! Be yourself and those deserving of you will accept you for who you are

That's not entirely true, although I've said it myself. Being myself means I don't go along with societal norms which has a way of making me something of a misfit. My values are different from many I know, but I won't change to please others and fit in.
