Did you know that "retard" is not an insult (though it has come to be used as one), but is in fact, a scientific term simply meaning stunted (usually in reference to growth or development).

@xixgun A hammer is a tool until used to strike someone, and then it becomes a weapon. Your point about the technical definition is correct, but semantically, our culture has transformed the word into an insult. Anyone using "tard"'as a suffix here is not using it to achieve anything beyond a childish insult in order to gain a few virtual high fives from within members of their chosen echo chamber.
