How is it so easy for people to ask for money , well like a landlord for example , id of felt so awkward even doing that to anyone regardless of what

even though you'd have the right to ask cause it might be your income, its still so cringy to talk about money unless its in a bank, anyone else feel that way ?

you should not have to ASK for money if it owed to U -- a person with dignity and self respect pays his debts - and if not then I will ask.

@MarmeeMarch true very true, but its like an experience my family had with renting a boat for a month trip and even tho the person was tagging along he'd of ask for money every time the day before, which was weird cause its like the next day you get the payment so why ask prior馃槀 it was so dumb

I do - but if you show weakness ppl will take advantage of U that is why you have to be a cold hearted bank - and I understand their position too - you cant give money away for free.

I know. But this feeling is not helpful. I made a mistake not talking about the money in several cases. It arises confusion and regrets.

@Disturbed12 i know in a long run it will cause people to take advantage, but i think maybe a letter might be better than actually saying the words & if that doesnt work then talking to the person, which sounds reasonable kinda 馃槄

@Ivana Letter works in some cases, I guess lol. 馃槍

Watch The Art Of Asking - TED talk by Amanda Palmer. Then you will know :) Or, read her book (better still). Or both (even better).

Yeah. I never ask for money from people who owe me.

Rather leave it on the house than ask for it.
