I hate it when...

i logged on the other day and the update alert popped up and said "you have 213 updates available" Holy Crap!!! I let it still all day "updating", then restarted it only for the update pop up to say "you have 189 updates available"...I gave up..:/

For me, it used to do it automatically without even giving me a warning.
"Nope, you're done, come back in x hours after all the updates have been done."

Hi Iva... If Your OS is Windows and you don't want that your PC to start update whenever you are switching it on or off or using it then you can manage it yourself. Windows has given that option in your control panel.

Go to the control panel and manually OFF the online update option in "system and security" and then it wont update your system till you manually set it ON.

You can turn it ON if someday you feel that you want the updates to be downloaded and installed in your system.

My iPhone does that a lot, so Apple is not innocent with this crap.

Yeah, good old microsoft playing catch up. Blame it on bill gates.

And it's always at the worst possible time too....
