Am I wrong to believe that those that use fear to motivate others, are bad people?

@Dan193 Depends on the circumstance. You threaten your kids with a spanking if they play with the flamethrower in the garage. You do this because you know the other could hurt or kill them, so you threaten them with something they know.

Now an adult telling you that all life on Earth will be wiped out if political party x takes power, that's wrong, because it's 100% bullshit.
