Most of you couldn't hang with me.

I don't mean to sound mean. but judging from y'all post. You wouldn't last a day hanging with a real thug like me. I am just too hard for some of y'all.

@JamesLeroy You're not even funny, just confrontational.

@Elegy

Did you snag your user name from these guys?

One of their albums from the ‘80’s, if I’m not mistaken.

@Nabokov Great question, I actually got it from here:

which is a super-group made up of Trent Reznor his wife Mariqueen Maandig and Atticus Ross. I'm assuming you can make the connection from there.

NIN. Saw Them at Hammerjack’s in Baltimore, December of ‘90, and Lollapalooza, summer, ‘91.

Coil recorded the unreleased soundtrack to the original Hellraiser. Spooky as alll get out.

Pretty sure that was where Trent Reznor lifted the name from.

@JamesLeroy Shh baby, we're talking. I'll give you some attention in a minute.
Elegy · 46-50
@Nabokov Trent has absolutely claimed Coil as a major influence and HTDA is specifically a Coil influenced project. He's not being sneaky about it, it's documented.

@JamesLeroy No Leroy Jenkins, I'll tell you when you can have some of Daddy's time.
Nabokov · 56-60, F
@Elegy Oh, I know! I’d forgotten about this project. But when I first heard of it, I said to myself, “I know where that name comes from.”

@Nabokov 👍

@Elegy This is probably a heretical opinion, but “Pretty Hate Machine” is my favorite release by NIN. “Head Like A Hole” roared out of nowhere somewhere in July of ‘90. I bought it the next day. Still sounds like he sold his plasma to finance it.

@Nabokov I was pretty hot and heavy into Ministry and I saw it as being a little derivative but yeah I fell in live with it instantly. It trailed off for me as he released what I feel was better music but that remaster from a few years ago... holy fuck. That blew my fucking mind.
