I just buy my self a cheap cake

No, because I didn't do anything aside from showing up. My mom did all the work.

Acknowledge it, maybe cook something special or go out to dinner (and not usually on the day itself)...but actually celebrate it? Not really, I usually have to work on my birthday and it's rare I ever have it off so it's just another day for the most part.

Yes! I try to treat myself. Mine was last Wednesday.

No, not exactly. I mean people offer to take me out and I may go , but other than that no. This year I spent it with my friend the earlier part of the day and the rest of I spent with my ex. I wouldn't call it celebration though.

I hate my birthday. I was born too close to christmas. I'm an atheist because Jesus stole my birthday.
Sourdad · 61-69, M
@bijouxbroussard That's pretty close. I don't know which of us had it worse. I had a good friend in the Army who had almost the same birthday as me. We were born in '63 and we agreed it was a bad year for babies born near the Kennedy assassination.
@Sourdad Oh, yeah. That was a sad holiday season for a lot of people. 😞

@bijouxbroussard I think it affected a lot of us who were barely there.

I've legitimately forgot what day it is. I have to check my license to find out.

No, but I do have a present day that replaced it :)

Yes. It’s an excuse to eat some cake.

@Kingfish28 I am 48 and still celebrate. Am I a child? I hope so!

Not really. But friends and family do things to acknowledge it sometimes.
