don't cops who go undercover break the law to blend in somtimes?

If so do what happens to them?

They're in most cases allowed to break the law unless they're causing direct harm to someone I think. Like doing drugs to fit in is typically allowed, for example.

@Prettybrat The nature of police is that they're not there to fairly enforce the law. They're there to enforce a certain social order which is to some peoples' benefit more than others.

It's why stealing a hundred bucks is likely to get you a far harsher sentence than embezzling millions.
