because cameras out means stunts, there is probably one out there but I have yet to see a video where they get mad at a fixed position camera

@Jackaloftheazuresand People have the right to film officers on duty 🤷 it's illegal to keep people from filming, as long as the people filming don't get in the way or otherwise interfere with police work.

@NorthernRoses As for your camera in the car scenario with the attorney, where was it?

You said "Because cameras out means stunts" and you therefore conclude the police ought not to be filmed in the course of their duty. Forgive me but I utterly and completely disagree. It also appears the police disagree with you as well since they now wear body cams. @Jackaloftheazuresand

@Jackaloftheazuresand Like, where it happened? Wilmington, North Carolina.
It was a phone camera, I think? Either way, the cop got demoted so I don't know what he thought he'd get out of that situation 🤷

@sarahcupcake Wrong, I mentioned fixed position cameras for a reason. Most of the time when someone pulls out a camera it is to cause trouble and use it as a shield, that was my conclusion

@Jackaloftheazuresand Most of the time people pull out cameras it's because something interesting is happening and they want to document it. I haven't seen anyone interfere with the police when filming so 🤷
Also it's still super illegal to tell people to stop filming when they're not interfering.

@NorthernRoses No it isn't, it's illegal to physically stop them. I watch these videos and I have an interest in legal matters and conduct. Officers are allowed to lie. I imagine this is why the demoted officer got reinstated.
