What's a weird craving of yours? (Besides me. I know you all crave me!)

I'm literally addicted to freezer frost ice! I scrape the ice from my deep freezer all the time. Can't live without it

The desire to eat ice, or freezer frost, can be a symptom called PICA, which is associated with low hemoglobin (hemoglobin is an iron-carrying molecule that transports oxygen from your lungs to your body's other tissues).

Freezer frost can be contaminated with micro-organisms. It does have the potential to cause illness when consumed. Look up: Freezing and Food Safety

Freezing to 0 °F inactivates any microbes — bacteria, yeasts and molds — present in food. Once thawed, however, these microbes can again become active, multiplying under the right conditions to levels that can lead to foodborne illness.

@PeculiarPea Well, I didn’t know you knew that already, Einstein. Don’t flip your hand at me. I was just trying to help. Don’t ask if you can’t accept the answers without attitude.

@PeculiarPea True, but I didn’t know if you knew the dangers and was trying to keep you from getting ill. No problem. ✌
