If all phones are going to be like $700+ now how am i going ro afford a new one when my current phone dies?

Theres no way I could get a new one if something were to happen to my current phone

My phone is from the late 90's I think.
Cost me £20 second hand from a cex store about ten years ago.
I don't need it to be able run 4 apps sumultaneously. Nor do I want music or movie storage.
I couldn't care less for social media or live event streaming.
Since when was it important that your phone should be able to take HD megapixel photos ?
I mean seriously ! Come on. Who's life is THAT interesting ?
One day the world will come to it's tech. senses and folk will realise what they really want is a phone shop that designs apps customers want.
Not endless hardware that only kids are interested in.

@SW-User What makes me laugh is how they used to think having these things palm sized was the ultimate.
And twenty years on these things are now so big and delicate you daren't shove them in your pocket like you can with these old ones.
