It used to be acceptable to bury children who had died young close to the family home, even under door entrances in order that the child's spirit would have living family around and be around familiar surroundings prior to entering heaven.

@Pureblossom My ex father in law was a builder and worked on historical restorations, they found quite a few skeletons particularly of children during restoration work. Their procedure was to call the police who would then hand it over to forensic anthropologists and other specialist.

it sure is a little on the creepy side but its not something i would say as particularly bad
