Y'all ready for this conspiracy theory about lawyers?

@DragonFruit I bash them even when I need them because they are all liars and money motivated but we have no other choice but to pay.

@Fernie As someone who practiced law for over 30 years, I can attest to the fact that not all attorneys are liars. I worked with some of the most honest men I’ve ever known. I can also state that I’ve never been money motivated (I took a job with a small firm when I could have made a lot more money elsewhere, and retired when I had the ability to earn more).
Are there bad people in the legal profession....of course there are (and some do a lot of damage because they know enough to do so). However, most attorneys I know are good and honest people (and I probably know more of them than most people do).

@DragonFruitIf you hadn't practiced law for over 30 years I would be more inclined to believe you. We are in the same generation...I have never met a lawyer with enough integrity for my taste

@Fernie Are you saying that I don’t have enough integrity for your taste? I’m just saying that lawyers are basically no different than members of any other profession....there are mostly good people, with a significant minority of others (as in any profession). I wouldn’t bash ALL of the members of any legitimate profession.
Believe it or not I, and others who worked with me, took great care to do what was best for our clients and were certainly honest.
