I had a guy with two phd’s in basic training. He could tell you step by step how to take apart any gun but he couldn’t do it in real life if his life depended on it. Was that smartest dumb person I’ve ever met.

They don’t think the same way. The way things are taught in most schools inhibits them from being able to prove their intelligence.

Schools teach at the pace that a slightly below average person learns. Smart kids get bored and distracted and stop paying attention so they miss things when the lesson finally progresses.
