The Ronald McDonald legacy is not burgers

It is about curing childhood cancer.

The partnership of MD Anderson and Ronald McDonald is an eye opening example of why socialized medicine is bad ... and why innovative volunteer solutions hold promise.

I could write a novel on this.

I will leave it with, more to come.

I ran a Domino's Pizza in St. Petersburg, Florida many years ago. I was transferred from out of town, and I had a Ronald McDonald house in the delivery area. I never heard of it before, but the nearby residents knew all about it.

They gave a place for the parents of sick kids at the hospital to sleep near by and for free.

It is a great cause and concept. I forgot about it until Weaver brought it up. You are a good man Weaver.

@carsonfry exactly thank you for stating the amazingly good work the foundation does! 😊
@carsonfry

Thank you for the share.

Yes, children's treatments are aggressive and physically exhausting.

Neither kids nor parents can really travel.

The house provides a zone where safety, joy, food, distraction, fellowship and support ... merge to raise the survival and victory rate.

Thank you for calling it out!

And I sense, if a Ronald McDonald Angel ever called on you ... you would be there!
