If you could dream.....

I would dream of magic and unicorns, princesses and starry nights, of love and sweet innocence...
All the things I can never have in waking life.

the best dreams i have are that my children are young again and we are all together as a family, not to take away from their lives now or to put down mine, but that time when one is the protector and they are innocent to this world and all that mattered was day to day and the joe of their discovery and dreams themselves

I dunno. Reliving the past in my dreams may be nice, but then again, it could make the moments of consciousness even more unbearable.
Something so fantastical that it's obvious that it isn't reality might also be nice. But there would still be the same problem.
Being able to choose to never dream would be for the best.
