Muslims: why are some of you fighting each other mentally?

United we stand divide we fall.

When personal gain overrides following Islam then you go from the golden age into fools gold. God does not change the condition of a people until they change that which is within themselves.

In short, civil progress will not take place along with uncivil discourse. Look at Andalusia. Learn from the example of how people fought over the thrones and killed their own for mere greed. God will replace a people with those who are better. Already many are coming to Islam while those who fail to practice it are being replaced.

Learn to get along and put away your individual differences. Eat some biryani if you must.

Ha! Even Sikhs fight amongst each other. Won't be surprised if all faith does it. Cast, secularisation, different opinions - irritating!

Ideologies will always cause people to fight. I guess that's just part of our makeup. So much for intelligent design.

@SW-User the ideologies will not always cause fighting and they may not even be the cause themselves.

When the human being was about to be created, the angels asked God if He is going to create a being who will cause corruption and bloodshed? God answered that He knows that which you do not know (he knows exactly what He is doing). I.e. there is wisdom in creating a human being who can do good and bad on his own will.

Humans can choose to be kind when others are unkind, thereby growing in relationship with God who is the most kind.

Humans can choose to do justice when others do injustice, thereby growing in their relationship with God who is the most-Just.

Angels cannot have that type of relationship with God because they do not possess free will. Robots cannot experience injustice or justice, but a baby human can.

That is intelligent design. A balance between moral upgrowth when you choose to behave good and moral decline when you do bad. And God is the one who guides people to good and let’s those want to do ill to go astray.

Islam is an idea which means submissions to God and peace. If someone uses that idea falsely and does bad actions in the name of Islam then let those who have knowledge shun them because they know better and know that that is not part of Islam.
