Foot/knee/back pain: chiropractor or physiotherapist?

Hello,

I have understood chiropractors as providing short term pain relief and physical therapists who facilitate long term pain relief by strengthening the muscles to prevent injury.

What is your experience?

best to see a doctor & specialist (orthopedist/neurologist/etc.) and see what the actual problem is first before going to a chiropractor

In my case, with a previous serious injury, spondylosis, nerve damage, etc. a chiropractor would actually do more harm than good...

@wildbill83 my experiences with doctors has been very poor. They do under diagnose and say you are a young man

@SomeHand In that case, physiotherapist. a good chiropractor would refuse to treat you without knowing more about your medical history...
