How come cbd oil is illegal?

I heard they say it's legal but than i hear of people getting felonies for it and police raiding businesses for selling it. I dont see why when it doesnt even intoxicate you at all. Seems like it's obvious it's only illegal because the government would rather people use opioids for their pain so that way they can make more money

I work in a medical marijuana dispensary. Yes the doctors and pharmacy make big bucks on opiates. CBD and THC are helping people get off opiates, it's great to see. It's becoming legal, just takes time because a bunch of closed minded old white men make the decision for everyone.

It's becoming legalized in Canada and parts of the US. I don't know about the conspiracy part but I think using topical oil would be safer than smoking. It's not worth getting a criminal record IMO, but if you wait a while you might find cannabis products more widely legalized for medicinal purposes

yeah government are pissed not because it's a derivative from an illegal substance, they're pissed because they haven't figured out who should be able to supply it and more importantly, how they can make money from it.

@Picklebobble2 How come they are pissed? What have they been drinking, and how much have they had? They shouldn't be drinking in their offices, it does not help them to make responsible decisions.

Because it's made from cannabis. I don't know why that's illegal myself, but it is.
