What do you think of this quote?

"That the partner you choose to be with, is just a reflection of yourself, of your self worth in that moment."
So is it wise to look for love when you're just a shell of yourself? Or like the way you see yourself right now?
I always had a saying that I really believe and that is, you attract what you are.
I have a person in my life who is successful but only attracts 18 year olds(he's 36). So, a part of him is an 18 year old because how could he stand them otherwise? Not to be rude but, most 36 year olds can not be around a 18 year old for very long. But that is not him as a whole. He is wildly successful in life, but emotionally immature. Just because you attract someone and you are a shell or are only looking at yourself for what you are right now doesn't mean that that is ALL that you are.

@dragonfly46 that's true

I think it explains a bit.
I'm worthless, so no one has ever existed that would tolerate me.

It's more complicated than that. Don't forget to factor good or bad fortune.

to each their own.

You are reading something who somebody strongly believes in the shadow self.

For some people it works but not for others.

Depends on your mental health really and we all are crazy anyway.

I do not like dogmas for I think human nature is way more complicated.
