Are best friends suoposed to be blunt and brutally honest to you?
I love my bestie bug she can be brutally blunt at times. I know she has my back and never go behind my back but her honesty can be painful. Like I was severely depressed over my grandma's death two years ago and I didn't want to do anything. I curled up in a ball in bed. I would do that everyday coming home after college.
My friends have been trying to get me to go out and do places but I kept rejecting. My other friend was like, "Guys forget her! Lets just stop inviting her. If she wants to cry over her dead granny for the rest of her life and be depressed, let her. I won't let her ruin my fun!"
My best friend came over, saw me curled up on my bed soaking. This was 6 months after her death. She pulled me out if bed pointed her finger at me and said, "Look you can't be sad all the time. Your grandmother wouldn't want that right? Its going to affect your life being sad and depressed all the time and people aren't going to want to hang to you. Either you get some help or I will. You're going. Come on. Get up." So I did. All though I thought she was too harsh.
