54 my glass is half full

No. I’ve made preparation. I know where I’m going, even if I die today. I’m happy with that.

@LadyGrace I'll be there too!
@luv2fly352 Amen!! I look forward to meeting you there, and your loved ones. 👍👆

my focus is not to be around for as many years as possible but to have the best years i can
luv2fly352 · 70-79, M
Nope! After serving in 2 military conflicts as an active combatant,and now as a disabled veteran,i'm just so grateful for everyday coz i truly never expected to live this long and i know that "yesterday's history,tomorrow's a mystery,and today is a 'gift';That's why it's called the "present" - author unknown.
You think you only have another 10 years left at 53. Your 60s are considered quite young to die this day and age. What are you doing wrong?

Not bummed out. Just the natural progression of life. I'm 66. My father lived to 88 and my mother to 101 so who knows how long I have

If I let it bum me out it would. We could have 10-20 minutes left...no point in thinking about it
Bleed · 41-45, F
You could also have another 50 years left.
Astro · 56-60, M
@Bleed I would be over 100. I dont see that happening

Stephen Hawkins was given a few years to live and look what happened. Others have been taken in freak accidents no one saw coming.
We never know how much time we have but it shouldn’t be wasted by worrying over things that we have no control over.

It would bum me out thinking I had to live that much longer
No, I don’t think it would. Chances are good I’d be here alone and my health has declined over the last couple of years. The longer I last the more risk of me being a burden to someone else.
