Makes you wonder who would take or make such a photo!
kodiac · 22-25, M
@EugenieLaBorgia A survivor?
@kodiac Which one??
kodiac · 22-25, M
@EugenieLaBorgia Pick one there are thousands .
@kodiac I see only four people here: the one who took the photo, the one who originally posts it, a boy and a member of the Roman Catholic clergy - a deacon, or, perhaps, a seminarian.

@EugenieLaBorgia I'm sure the pic is photoshop .It's symbolic not literal i think.
@kodiac I am always a little disconcerted when some use children displayed in this manner. There are predators that would savour photos such as this.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@EugenieLaBorgia any survivor who sees this instantly understands what is being said
kodiac · 22-25, M
@EugenieLaBorgia Your right ,but it is so insightful maybe it needs to be seen .
@WeighedDown They understand other things, too. This, however, does not give an accurate overview of the Catholic church.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@EugenieLaBorgia As a survivor myself i believe it is the overview that everyone has been ignoring.
@kodiac It is an aspect which many attempt to conceal.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@EugenieLaBorgia The church does many good things ,but at what cost? Is feeding the poor worth the price demanded? No amount of charity can wipe away the stain of organized sexual abuse of thousands of children .
@kodiac This, though, should be an attack on the predators and those who attempt to protect them not on the church itself. There is only so much tar that a brush can spread and that tar should be reserved for those vile individuals and not on the architecture of beliefs.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@EugenieLaBorgia sometimes you have to burn the house to get the rats out
@WeighedDown Then we would have to burn every institute that we have created!
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@EugenieLaBorgia sounds like a good idea to me
@WeighedDown Then what would beleft? You would have to dismantle the army, navy, coastguard, ambulance services; the entire educational system, the entire medical system, etc., etc.,etc.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@EugenieLaBorgia still not seeing a downside humans are so smart their stupid
@WeighedDown I love irony!
kodiac · 22-25, M
@EugenieLaBorgia The architecture of beliefs is obviously flawed.
@kodiac I'm not quite sure where you see an established precedent for promoting paedophilia or in concealing it.I can certainly understand, though, a strong desire to expose it by every means possible; SW is a good place to start, particularly with the little group established here who believe that they can rid themselves of the 'threats' they see others presenting to them.One of their childish strategies is to vilify other members with their inbox messages and mindless gossiping.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@EugenieLaBorgia Everyone in the church is aware of what goes on ,it's not well hidden . Yet no one does anything .I was taken on so called retreats sponsored by the church where other priests and boys attended starting at around age 10 .I don't need to explain do i?I was being molested in foster care wasn't sure if it was wrong so i went to our parish priest for advice he used what i told him to convince me doing it with him wasn't wrong. I already said too much on this topic i think .But people need to understand that the church is fully aware of what is happening.
@kodiac I do agree that there are those who attempt to conceal it but what I meant to say was that there is no scriptural precedent for encouraging that concealment or in promoting it. It's a human perversity which seems to infest everywhere.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@kodiac Ah, there you are! Sorry, I don't like replying when a person isn't here. I'm quite vicious when it comes to paedophiles.
