Ask me anything about Islam! I will try my best to answer

There are two types of questions depending on one's intention: one to cure ignorance and the other to feed arrogance/question authority

I know not all Muslims are terrorists (in fact, most of them are not), but why are most terrorists Muslims these days? Let's face it, most of them are.

@NankerPhelge
Muslims are Muslims.
This answer made me laugh harder than it should have

@SomeHand Yes, I accept the average, common-or-garden variety, non-terrorist Muslims for who and what they are. But who did this?

@NankerPhelge I think isis was responsible for that tragedy.

@SomeHand And which religion is ISIS associated with?
@SomeHand They weren’t. Salman Abedi wasn’t affiliated with ISIS.

@HijabaDabbaDoo Whoever it was, he wants to watch who he's messing with there. That particular atrocity upset some friends of mine, and not without good reason. That c*nt can never expect forgiveness from me. Never in a billion years (even if I literally live that long) will I forgive that one.

@NankerPhelge He’s upset more than just your friends. He’s upset an entire country. Manchester isn’t far from where I live. That day was horrid.

He wasn’t affiliated with any terrorist organisation. He got radicalised by a few around him,
Simply looking at his past shows how he got radicalised. This could have been prevented though, since not one but several people from his college, including his family reported him to an anti-terrorism hotline to warn police about his extremist views.
Plus he was already known by the police for already having committed minor offences like theft and assault. It’s a shame.

@HijabaDabbaDoo I can see that, but please don't downplay the seriousness of why my friends were so upset about it. It was more than just what happened, it was the date when it happened. It was a special date to certain friends of mine. Why did that guy deliberately choose that date to do it? What did those particular friends of mine do to him, personally, that he could be that pissed off with them? Please do not take an (excuse my language) impersonal view of this.
