Funny? Not sure! But the one that puzzles me most is when people use an opposite word to describe what they mean. I once bought my granddaughter a beautiful piece of jewelry, that I was certain she would like. She teared up when she saw it and said "This is so sick!"
I told her I'd return it and she could come with me to pick something she [b]would [/b] like. She laughed and hugged me and said no no Nana, I love it.
??Really?? It sure didn't sound like love. But apparently sick is wonderful, bad is good, hot is cool, etc.
