Are two parents even necessary these days or is that too 1950s?

Its too 1950s people dont need 2 parents. It's not needed because most people dont have that anyway

It would be nice to have dad working and mom staying home with the kids. I was fortunate to have that but these days some families need 2 incomes - one to pay for the day to day expenses and the other to pay for day care for the kids.
