What are your thoughts on extreme male feminists?

Do you think the majority are genuine or just trying to get laid?

@Miram the day you meet one you will know.

@SirEldridge Well obviously you have known enough to make this question. Why not give me an example so I understand your own definition and can answer it accordingly?

@RemovedUsername786576 Well there is no other way to demonstrate who and what he considers to be an extremist. It's not a need, it's a rational expectation.

@Miram a guy that is very aggressively outspoken again men and super gung ho for women's rights. Usually thinking women should have more rights than men

@SirEldridge

I have personally known someone who went to that extent. He was physically abused as a child so for him it was a form of control. To confront men that had no involvement in his past. Strangely enough it can happen with women too.

In personal level, he didn't form any healthy relationships with women.
There are also men who jump in because of their sentiments towards religion. It is not always about having sex.

On a second thought, I don't think male extremists are known much, outside online forums because unlike women, they would receive more criticism, from feminists and non feminists alike, if they use women in such manner as you described, they wouldn't get far in activism.

@RemovedUsername786576 That's a faulty comparison. Rape is legally defined. Extremism is very subjective. By many people just being outspoken about your beliefs ,and/or engaged in political activism can be seen as extremism. For others there needs to be more. For him apparently it means seeking a social reform that gives women more rights than men.

The question was about people, so my first thought was it must be someone known or a recent media scandal. It was about people not behaviors.

Even moderate feminists can exhibit instances of extremism at some point. Because people aren't perfect. For me to see someone as extremist, there has to be some consistency. You see why there is a difference between defining extremism and extremists?

Still I asked for a name to understand his definition not because it's a requisite. Both are just as effective which is why I still replied to his definition.

Don't be too quick to corner others into a Me vs you stance.
