can you describe to me your process of forgiving someone if you choose to forgive someone? And let's say it's not a minor thing but something quite major

@TacoCat Just let them go ,I mean stop have feelings like hate and grudge,Thats forgive

@Lemony1199 yes but how do you make that happen? Or does it just happen? I usually try to look through the eyes of the person who wronged me and understand why they did it and what makes them do they did
Maybe they were raised a certain way or a certain event happened to them that changed them seeing the world through their eyes helps me understand them thus forgiving them
If that makes any sense
