My doctor flat out told me that I was fat and I'm so close to being diabetic. I'm just big boned. I'm 5'3 and 266lbs. Is she right?

You don't need to be small to be healthy and bigger ladies are in now. Thin is out! Anways my doctor got in my face saying my cutting is out of control and lay off the junk food. She sternly told me I need to lose weight and if the cutting gets worse or if my weight does up she will be very upset and be on me. I keep telling her I'm just big boned but every time she shot back at me saying unless I wanna be on the 600 pound life she suggest me to lose weight. I stormed out crying because she hurt my feelings. My parents suggested I keep her as my PCP because the ones I had were too far or sugarcoated about my weight.

I really don’t understand why you keep going on and on about this. It’s like you just want attention. Your doctor is right. Your are looking at very serious health conditions. And skinny is not out because last time I checked everyone wants to be slim thick. Yes plus size girls are getting more recognition and more acceptance but that doesn’t mean their weight is healthy. Just like the super skinny girls that deal with eating disorders. That’s not healthy. Stop complaining about your doctor. You are old enough to change doctors. All I can say is when you have a heart attack or stroke and your age, your going to regret not trying to make a healthy life decision and loose weight. Im not saying you need to weigh 100 pounds but for your age and height you should weight 130-140 pounds.
