That is so sad. I feel sorry for her. Life isn't always fair.

@GJOFJ3 Life didn't make the decisions for her...she made them.

@GJOFJ3 her and I grew up real similarly but I turned out a tad better and shes got a few years on me

@Fernie sometimes options are limited by circumstances
@GJOFJ3 who opts to have EIGHT children?
seashells · 31-35, F
@metaldog well that's because she doesnt really use protection. Drugs doesnt mean the best judgement. Trust me I know I was on drugs before in my life too.
Fernie · F
@GJOFJ3 we have to take full responsibility for the life we create for ourselves and giving up life for drugs or alcohol is a choice and there is a way out of that nightmare always. Been there. When people say "life isn't fair" it implies that life is a thinking organism out there deciding who'll get what and who won't. Then no responsibility is taken. I know there are tons of circumstances but there is always a way out unless one is shackled to a wall in some dank basement
@seashells I think it's because government subsidies are too easy to fall back on..it sucks hard
@Fernie it's just too easy to be life's victim instead of creating your life
seashells · 31-35, F
@metaldog well yeah they are but all her kids are in the system I believe. I havent talked to her in months. She refers to it at sold.
Fernie · F
@metaldog we are creating our lives every second we are breathing...good or bad.
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
@Fernie It's easy to judge others when you haven't been in their reality. I choose not to do that.
@Fernie yes true...I suppose I meant making choices as opposed to just letting life happen
Fernie · F
@metaldog much of life just happens. How we deal with it and the choices we make is what matters. It ain't always easy though is it
