So I decided to be a sellout and applied for verified on my four accounts. Anyone know how long it takes for that?

@SW-User they'd want four different photos? How could they verify otherwise? To me the verification process is stupid in marketing, and displays just how low the audience is here if admins have that time. Any one with a mind knows what happens on the Internet now belongs to algorithims

@SW-User Some really large sites manage to pull off verification, quite frankly I just wish youtube would verify me, I've been making content for years and it's rather annoying that people who toss tons of money at their advertising program get such easy audiences and perks.

@TeirdalinFirefall I started watching it just for fun. I'm not a gamer at all. Then I couldn't anymore because I was working 12 hours a day.

@TeirdalinFirefall Many channels buy bots to start their business besides ads. It's not even a bad thing. How else are they supposed to end up in recommendations with hundreds of other channels already established?

@SW-User I think hundreds is an understatement. :p

But yeah, the way youtube explained it to me; the way audience growth is handled now is your audience itself expands the audience through shares and whatnot; but if you don't have an audience to begin with the videos are pretty much hidden under everything else.

@TeirdalinFirefall Why don't you try advertising tho? Just curious.

@SW-User The cost adds up pretty fast and I got no real income right now.
