I am sure as a black person you have come across rudeness in your life - how do you tell if they are being rude or being rude - and discriminatory BC of your skin color. ?

@MarmeeMarch Once, back in the 1950s, I asked a young black woman that question. The answer: "Most of the time you don't know. And that is what makes it so destructive."

@MarmeeMarch I think, then or now, people, particularly children, are affected by prejudice even when it's not overt or obvious.
