Do you think it's lame that some adults still live at home with her parents?

I have a cousin who is like almoat 30 and she still lives at home. Why? I though at 18 or 20 you move out? Doesn't she thinks it's time to move out? She has a part time job and goes to college. I'm surprised her parents hasn't kicked her out. She makes this excuse that she can't afford to move out because she only makes...$500 a month. Isn't that how much rent is? Doesn't she have friends she can live with? Sheesh. Talk about pathetic and lazy. Just saying.

$500 a month? I'm not surprised she's still at home. Sharing a 3 bdrm house here with 2 others, rent + utilities is $500/month each, and if you're blowing your whole paycheck on rent, how the hell do you survive for food and transport? IDK, maybe you live in some deep rural area where rent is a hell of a lot less, but otherwise I suspect you just have no scale of idea of how expensive it is to live.

Or are you saying she should parasite off friends & not contribute her fair share? because that always ends well.

If her parents are prepared to support her through college like this, being a judgemental asshole about it only makes you look bad.
