I agree with @sigh. When I have comfort, especially emotional and sustained comfort, I'm happy. Comfort and contentment = happiness for me, unfortunately, I haven't had much of either in my life, but what little I had, I'm grateful for.

gee, I lie to have both Mam if I could but having to choose I take happiness, has to be some comfort in that. :)

I know what you mean... yeah sometimes it is easier to remain comfortable even when you're not happy per se.

Probably, to s some extent. Comfort represents safety too so it's less risky than chasing dreams.
